Breath and Sound
You may be thinking that those high notes are not as easy as I have said. You would be right because we have still not covered a very important area that we need for easy singing. Remember when we discussed the breath earlier? Our breath gives us not only the release we need to sing, but also the energy and power behind the tone.
The breath is the tool that creates a singing sound. Though the actual pitch is created in the vocal cords (responding to nerve stimulus from the brain), our ability to hold out a note rests entirely with the breath. Below are some exercises that will help.
