What is the Nurturing Music in Children Workshop?

A relaxed, enjoyable setting for parents and child-care providers who feel like a "fish out of water" in facilitating music with their active, exuberant, curious students.

It is for providers who love music, but don't feel good enough to begin to help anyone musically. We want to be able to nurture music in children without fear and shame.
|
|
The unsure music-makers are not alone. We live in a tonally illiterate culture. Thousands of individuals have not received the guidance and encouragement needed to find their own personal musical voice.
|
|
Many long to be able to feel good about singing, but fear and shame, based on a lack of understanding, are too strong.
|
|
The critical time for learning musical language skills is during the language learning years: early childhood!!
